Originally from Helsinki, Finland, I graduated from King’s College London with a BA in International Relations in 2023. During my undergraduate degree, I focused on the intersections between popular culture and foreign policy, especially in the context of the War on Terror. My research interests include the rise of the Soviet sports apparatus and contemporary Russian sports diplomacy, as well as the evolution of East European intelligence services during the Cold War.
