Damian Strycharz is a lecturer (Assistant Professor) of International Relations at the Krakow University of Economics. Damian received his PhD in politics and international relations from the University of Edinburgh. His research interests include Russia’s foreign policy and relations with the former Soviet states, domestic political sources of foreign policy, and role theory. He is working on a book manuscript analysing Russia’s foreign policy in 2014-2022.
Damian has held positions at the University of Edinburgh and Jagiellonian University. He is the author of 'Role Theory and Russian Foreign Policy' published in 2022 by Routledge, and research articles in International Affairs, Foreign Policy Analysis, and Problems of Post-Communism.
