Margaret Miller

Margaret Miller began studying Georgian while reading History at St Anne’s College from 2016 to 2019. She got involved with the translation project in 2018, working on Sulkhan Saba Orbeliani’s collection of fables and Goderdzi Chokheli’s short stories.

Her translations are included in the upcoming volume, Stories from Saba: Selected Fables from The Book of Wisdom and Lies. She also translated a substantial section of Goderdzi Chokheli’s Human Sadness, and is currently working on Aka Morchiladze’s Santa Esperanza alongside her fellow translators. 

Since 2020, she has been based in New York City. She is currently enrolled in a Library Science program at Simmons University and works at the Brooklyn College library.
