Born and raised in Cracow, Poland. I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Centre for East European Studies at the University of Warsaw. My thesis explored the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation's response to the war in Ukraine and member states' reactions to Russia's invasion. Over the summer, I conducted research on Russo-Afghan relations post-Taliban takeover at the Centre for Eastern Studies in Warsaw. My primary research interest is Russian foreign policy, with a particular focus on the Kremlin's pivot toward the East. I am also interested in pre-Revolutionary Russia.
