Originally from Romania, I recently graduated from Warwick University with a BA in History and Politics. I worked in research at the Centre of Analysis of the Radical Right and in investigative journalism at the Romanian branch of OCCRP, where I continue my work up to this day.
My main interest is corruption in Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on Romania and Moldova. My undergraduate dissertation explored how different factors (such as the EU, political will, and institutions) influence the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures in the region.
Additionally, I have broader interests in democratization, extremism and the study of revolutions and protests.
