Originally from Romania, I completed a Dual BA in European Social and Political Studies (Sciences Po Paris - UCL). During my undergraduate studies, my research interests centred around political institutions, political behaviour and a regional focus on contemporary politics and society in Central and Eastern Europe. In my MSc thesis, I aim to explore the electoral behaviour of the Romanian diaspora in recent Romanian elections, with an emphasis on the unexpected success of nationalist and far-right discourse during the 2020 electoral campaign.
