REES alumni Anna J Davis has written a chapter entitled “Using Documents in Research During Periods of Conflict and Political Turbulence," in the edited volume Using Documents in Research: When, Where, Why and How.
The chapter is aimed at supporting young and early career researchers with a guide to navigating the complexities of using official documents for research while navigating conflict, political upheaval, and war. It offers practical lessons on adaptability, ethics, and resilience.
