Ivan Gunjic is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Public International Law and Comparative Constitutional Law of the University of Zurich. In his current research, he examines the growing proliferation of judicial authorities in Eastern Europe that specialise in corruption cases. He has also dealt with other institutional reform projects in Belarus, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, and Serbia, involving courts, prosecution services, and bar associations. Some of his work on these issues has been published. Other topics he has written about include international requirements for the design of ombudsman offices, the appointment procedure for Swiss Federal Judges, and legal remedies against misinformation in Switzerland. Besides his research activity, Ivan has taught Swiss administrative law and Swiss public procedural law at the University of Zurich, practiced in legal boutiques in Argovia and Zurich, and clerked at a District Court in Argovia, Switzerland.
