REES Dr Leila Alieva recently returned from Batumi, Georgia, where she was 'Master of Ceremonies' at the 8th Black Sea Summit of the Assembly of European Regions; opening the summit and moderating the plenary panel on the 13th June.
The summit was attended by more than 90 regional MPs and heads of local administrations of the EU regions, and some EaP states ( Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova) and was dedicated to the issues of inter-regional cooperation both in Europe and in the Black Sea area.
