Originally from London, I graduated in 2021 with a BA in French and Russian studies from the University of Manchester. I worked as a teacher and translator in Kazan, Russia, where I lived for six months, before moving home and working in London at both a primary school and a local council helping Ukrainian refugees arriving to the UK. My research focuses on the historical role of Russian literature in politics and state-media.
