Margaret Miller

Margaret Miller began studying Georgian while reading History at St Anne’s College from 2016 to 2019. She got involved with the translation project in 2018, and contributed translations to Stories from Saba: Selected Fables from The Book of Wisdom and Lies (Cezanne, 2023), Goderdzi Chokheli’s Human Sadness (Dedalus, 2024). Several of her translations were published via Taylor Editions as part of the Modern and Medieval Language Faculty’s Diversity Translation project. She is currently working on a translation of Aka Morchiladze’s novel Santa Esperanza, and a forthcoming anthology of contemporary Georgian poetry.

She is an adjunct reference librarian at the CUNY Graduate Center and a member of the Brooklyn College Library Open Educational Resource program.
